PURPOSE:To obtain a hydrocarbon and CO in high yield without necessitating energy by irradiating a CO2 containing gas brought into contact with water with electromagnetic wave in the presence of iron (ion). CONSTITUTION:0.01-10wt.% iron powder having 0.005-30mum particle diameter is suspended or 0.01mmol-1 mol water soluble iron compound is dissolved into water. The CO2 containing gas is blown into the water suspending solution or the water dissolving solution and is irradiated with 0.0001-1000 Mvad irradiation quantity of electromagnetic wave for 0.1-100 hours. |
