PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition having excellent detergency and being lowly irritating to the skin by mixing a specified amphoteric surfactant with a specified carboxylate-type anionic surfactant in a specified mixing ratio. CONSTITUTION:The title composition is prepared by mixing an N- polyoxyethylene alkyl ether ethyl-N,N-dialkylamino-acetic acid betaine-type amphoteric surfactant (A) of formula I (wherein R1 is 8-36 C alkyl, alkenyl, aralkyl or the like; R2 and R3 which may be the same or different are each 1-3 C alkyl or the like; and n is 0-25) with at least one carboxylate-type anionic surfactant (B) of any one of formulas II-V (wherein R4, R5 and R6 are each 8-22 C alkyl, alkenyl or the like; R7 is hydrogen or methyl; R8 is 8-18 C alkyl or the like; M is an alkali metal or the like; and n is 0-25 in formula III and 1 or 2 in formula IV) as the essential components in an A/B weight ratio of 1/99-70/30. |
