PURPOSE:To obtain porous artificial soil for culturing plants usable regardless of a shape of flowerpot, not collapsing into pieces during transplanting. CONSTITUTION:Artificial soil is in a chip-like, granular, pellet-like or noodle-like shape and comprises an organic substance, an inorganic substance or soil, a cured material of water-soluble urethane prepolymer and hydraulic gypsum. The artificial soil is prepared by producing a porous material of the shape from a dispersion comprising the organic substance, the inorganic substance or soil, the water-soluble urethane prepolymer and gypsum and heat-treating the porous material to provide the gypsum with hydraulic nature. |
