PURPOSE:To improve the working efficiency in sticking a strip of a self-adhesive sheet to an adherend and to prevent the inclusion of air bubbles between the self-adhesive sheet and the adherend and the occurrence of wrinkle. CONSTITUTION:The base end of a hollow casing 1 of a wedge-shaped section, having an opening 3 in slit form provided at the tip, is connected to a negative pressure source V through a connecting tube 2 and a flexible hose 7, and the upper side of the casing 1 is covered with a Teflon film 5. After a part of a self-adhesive sheet S is stuck to an adherend W, the opening 3 of the casing 1 is inserted into a wedge-shaped gap A formed between the self-adhesive sheet S and the adherend W, and the negative pressure source V is operated so that the atmospheric pressure causes the self-adhesive sheet S to join with the adherend W. Accordingly, by retreating the casing 1 to move the wedge-shaped gap A, the self-adhesive sheet S can be continuously stuck to the adherend W. During that time, the casing 1 can be smoothly slid in relation to the self-adhesive sheet S by the action of the Teflon film 5. |
