<p>This is an apparatus for repair of the internal wall of articles already in service, such as pipes, reservoirs, tanks and the like for the conveyance and/or containment of fluids and the like, comprising a container of various shape and dimension and at least one flexible tubular lining sheath, consisting of a tubular element of elastically yielding material, internally lined with a fabric layer impregnated with a polymerisable resin. Said container has a mouth for introducing inside it a sheath which has been closed at one end; means for anchoring said closed end to means of regulating the rate of displacement of the sheath, means for introducing a pressurised fluid into the container and means for securing to the mouth the open end of the sheath. After brining up the mouth, joined to the open end of the sheath, to the mouth or accessible end of a piece of equipment, the insertion of a pressurised fluid in the container results in continual turning of the sheath inside out, the insertion of the inside-out sheath into the piece of equipment at controlled speed by said means, and the securing of the sheath to the inner wall of the piece of equipment for polymerisation of the resin, now making contact with the wall being repaired. <IMAGE></p> |
