<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate the supply of paper by covering an exposed part of a paper- feeding device with a cover and moving respective paper-feeding device with the opening and closing operations of the cover. CONSTITUTION:When a cover 9 is opened, a switch 18 for detecting the opening and closing of the cover is turned off and a reversible motor 34 rotates reversely, thereby endless chains 29 and 30 being run in the reverse direction and a paper- feeding stand 13 being lowered. Then a lower limit position detecting switch 152 operates, the motor 34 stops amd the paper-feeding stand 13 stops at the lower limit position. On the other hand, as the paper-feeding stand 13 is lowered, a push- up lever 60 makes rotation and displacement, thereby a paper-feeding cassette 15 being brought into a free state. And thus supply of copying paper P1... on to the paper-feeding stand 13 or supply or replacement of copying paper P2 in the paper- feeding cassette 15 is conducted.</p> |
