PURPOSE:To obtain a seamless capsule without the film being swollen or softened, with the film contg. gelatin and the gel forming component other than gelatin and with the contents contg. a gelling material capable of gelling the gel forming component by gelling a gel forming component with a gelling agent at the interface between the film and contents. CONSTITUTION:In the seamless capsule consisting of the film and contents, film contains gelatin and a gel forming component (e.g. phaselin), and the contents contain a gelling agent (e.g. calcium chloride) capable of gelling the gel forming component other than gelatin. The gel forming component is gelled by the gelling agent at the interface between the film and contents to make the inner side face insoluble in water. As a result, even when the capsule contains a hydrophilic material, the gelatin film is not swollen, softened or made brittle over a long period. |
