PURPOSE:To provide the title composition which does not produce any toxic chlorine gas even when used in conjunction with an acidic detergent by mistake, can easily wash off bread mold grown on the wall of the dewatering and washing tubs, and has excellent detergency. CONSTITUTION:The title composition consists essentially of a hydrogenperoxysulfate of the formula: MHSO5 (wherein M is an alkali metal) and 100-600 pts.wt., per 100 pts.wt. the salt, water-soluble carbonate.
