摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain the corresponding alcohols or ketones under mild conditions in one stage by reacting a benzene derivative with oxygen in the presence of a transition metallic catalyst and aldehydes. CONSTITUTION:A benzene derivative of formula I [R<1> and R<2> are H or 1-20C alkyl, phenyl or phenylalkyl which can respectively be substituted or denote 3-12C cycloalkyl as the whole CHR<1>(R<2>) which can be substituted; X is H, halogen, 1-6C alkyl, 1-6C alkoxy, phenyl or phenoxy; (m) is 1 or 2] or formula II {Y is H, halogen, 1-6C alkyl, 1-6C alkoxy, phenyl or phenoxy; Z is CH2CH2, CH2CH2CH2 or formula III [X' is X; (n) is (m)]} is made to react with oxygen in the presence or absence of a proton source (preferably acetic acid or benzoic acid) in the presence of a transition metallic catalyst, preferably an iron-based or a copper-based catalyst, preferably at 20-80 deg.C temperature to afford the objective alcohols of formula IV or V or ketones of formula VI or VII.
