PURPOSE:To obtain brewage having excellent taste, quality and handleability by pressing a heat-treated raw brewage into a specific porous glass material from one side, forcing to pass through the micropores of the glass and recovering the brewage seeped from the other side of the porous glass material. CONSTITUTION:Raw brewage prepared by fermentation, sedimentation and heat-treatment is pressed into a porous glass material from one side, passed through the micropores 17 to allow the seepage from the other side of the material and recovered to obtain the objective brewage. The porous glass material is made of a porous glass substrate 12 composed of SiO2 skeleton having micropores 17 having a pore diameter of 0.1-20.0mum and produced by heat- treating a formed borosilicate glass to separate the glass into a phase 15 rich in SiO2 and a phase 16 rich in B2O3 and CaO and dissolving the phase 16 rich in B2O3 and CaO by acid treatment. |
