PURPOSE:To easily reduce malodors and to effectively utilize heat energy by mixing quick lime into fowl droppings, agitating, heating, fermenting and drying the mixture, supplying the gas generated in an agitator to a burner and burning the gas. CONSTITUTION:The fowl droppings in a fowl house 10 are transferred to an agitator 1 having an impeller 7 and an outlet 6 by a belt conveyor 5. Quick lime is then supplied by 3-10wt.% based on the droppings to the agitator 1 from a quick lime feed means 12, phosphoric acid is added, as required, by 0.1-2.5g per 100g of droppings, agitated and mixed, and the mixture is transferred to a heating chamber 2 through the outlet 6 and a screw conveyor 11. The heating chamber 2 is kept at 30-40 deg.C by the burner 3 to heat, ferment and dry the droppings on a dropping shelf 13. The gas generated in the agitator 1 is supplied to the burner 3 through a gas outlet pipe 4 and a suction fan 14 and burned, and the droppings are transferred on the shelf 13 to produce a fertilizer using the droppings. |
