PURPOSE:To eliminate the deposition of scales on a cooling pipe, etc., by introducing a high-temp. liq. to be treated contg. scale components into a multi-flash evaporator. CONSTITUTION:A liq. to be treated kept at high temp. is introduced from a geothermal water supply pipe 17 into the maximum-temp. stage 6a of a multi- flash evaporator 1, successively evaporated at each state and sent to the minimum-temp. stage 6n. Solid components formed by the evaporation, concentration and cooling are removed from the liq. in a setting vessel 11. Distilled water generated in the evaporator 1 is mixed from a pipe 13. The dilute water is recirculated to an evaporator 7, which is incorporated into the evaporator 1 or provided in its vicinity, from a pipe 24, heated therein by using steam generated in the evaporator 1 to increase the solubility and returned to a reducing well from a pipe 25. Consequently, the deposition of scales on a cooling pipe is eliminated and the scales can be efficiently separated. |
