<p>PURPOSE:To reduce locking sounds, by making a latch abut on a synthetic resin protrusion provided at a latch or a half-ratchet at the full-lock return way of the rotation of the latch and reducing the rotation speed of latch. CONSTITUTION:A lock body comprising a latch 8, a ratchet 10 for half way, and a ratchet 12 for full way is attached to a door and provided to freely lock with a striker 2 fitted to the car side. Next, a synthetic resin protrusion 18 is provided at the latch 8 side of the ratchet 10 coated with synthetic resin coat 16 and a synthetic resin protrusion 17 is provided at a specified position of the outer peripheral face of the latch 8 so as to abut on the protrusion 18 within the range from the half lock to the full lock. When the latch 8 turns from the half lock position to the full lock position on closing the door, the rotation speed of the latch is reduced by bringing the protrusion 17 to contact the protrusion 18. In this way, metallic sounds on the collision when locking can be securely reduced.</p> |
