THERMIT WELDED JOINT FOR RAIL

摘要

PURPOSE:To provide a thermit welded joint for the rail by which laying of a long rail track is facilitated with high reliability by reducing the thickness of an excess metal of a welded part at the base part and improving the fatigue strength. CONSTITUTION:The thicknesses of the excess metals of the welded parts in both faces or either face of the front face and rear face of the rail base are made below 0.15 times the pillar thickness of the rail and the two million time strength in a fatigue test by a three point bending load exceeds 230MPa in the range of a stress variation.
