PURPOSE:To provide a method for regenerating an ink sheet in which a constant film thickness and a good image quality are maintained consistently even after multi repeated operations of image formation and the regeneration of the ink, sheet and to provide an apparatus for the method. CONSTITUTION:A specified amount of charge is loaded on the ink layer 3 of an ink sheet 1 by a pre-electrode 17 before the ink sheet 1 is contacted with conductive ink 7 on an ink carrier 10. A specified value of voltage is charged between the conductive layer 11 of the ink carrier 10 and an electrode 16 so that the conductive ink 7 is supplied selectively on the transcription part 4 of the ink sheet 1 for regeneration the ink sheet 1. |
