<p>Commutator for an electric motor has a number of strips with hooks attached at one end, to which lead wires are hooked, and which are fastened onto the body of the current collector. The strips are made of a composite formed from a copper base alloy contg. 31g Ag/tonne, bal copper and an iron base alloy roll bonded to it, with the copper alloy towards the outside. The alloy has improved wear resistance together with the ability to withstand bending and machining.</p> |
