The compressed air driven double membrane pump has a pump housing with two chambers spaced at a distance from one another. Each chamber incorporates a membrane device by means of which the chambers are divided into a pump chamber (4, 7) and an air chamber (1, 6). The venting of one air chamber takes place in the pump chamber of the other housing chamber.
