Output power controller e.g. for motor vehicle engine - adjusts control settings in accordance with output torque characteristic selected w.r.t. road speed and accelerator position
摘要
A torque characteristic memory (1) stores a number of desired profiles of engine output shaft torque which depend on the road speed (21) and on the position of the accelerator pedal (22). A suitable characteristic is selected on the basis of recognition (6) of different conditions detected by the sensors. A desired value of torque is read from the selected characteristic and used to calculate suitable values of gearbox input shaft torque (2), engine torque (3), throttle opening (4), fuel injection and ignition timing (5). ADVANTAGE - An acceleration corresp. to the driver's intention or guaranteeing good ride characteristics can be achieved even in variable conditions such as hill-climbing or heavy loading.
