The display device has an elastic plastic base (38), a transparent tube (30) in one piece with a body (31) protruding upwards between base lateral edges. The tube contains a gas bubble (33) in liquid. The bubble shows when the tube is horizontal against indicator devices attached to the tube. A sprung metal clamp and the base are held together by engaging connecting devices. The clamp has a plate which lies beneath the base when it is attached to the base. A pair of arms (49) in one piece with the plate protrude over the end of the base, are curved upwards to form free cantilever arm end regions on either side of the base and at a distance from it. USE/ADVANTAGE - Has high resolution, is easy to read, cheap to make and easy to apply.
