The child's spinning top (1) made of wooden disc has a rigid body (2) and turning axle (3) coinciding with the main inertia moment of the max. inertia moment of the body. The top's body in relation to the centre axle consists of normal planes with at least one convex and at least one concave outer line (9). The turning axle consists of a pointed rod (10) going through the top's body to form one pointed, short end (11) forming the tip (5), and one long end (12) forming the drive shaft (6). One end of the turning axle sticks into a small ball (13). USE/ADVANTAGE - The toy spinning top arouses the child's powers of thought and observation especially into the complex laws of free gyratory movement.
