Prodn. of powdered, infusible polybiuret-polyurea mixts. (I) comprises reacting solns. of isocyanates (II) in inert solvents (III) with dry ammonia gas. USE/ADVANTAGE - The process is useful for processing isocyanate-contg. residues, esp. distn. residues from the prodn. of TDI, by dissolving the residues in NCO-inert solvent (III) and reacting as above (claimed). (I) are useful as fillers for thermoplastics, esp. as stabilisers for PVC (claimed). The invention provides a simple, economical, environmentally acceptable means of converting isocyanate residues into useful non-toxic prods. (I
