The electronic lock has the electronic switch, receiver, opening/closing system and alarm as separate components. The switch is a single chip which only gives a closing or opening signal to the receiver when the pertinent code has been input. The keyboard has alphanumeric keys, a transmit key to the off/on switch and a PCB for the chip. The key must be inserted into a compartment (with a flap to protect against contamination) in order to activate the power circuit since the key closes the current circuit in the lock housing. ADVANTAGE - Combined electronic lock with burglar alarm.
