The liquid distribution system includes a container (10) with liq. level regulating units (11), a changeover valve (20) connected at the underside of the container and a pressurising and venting valve (21) connected at the top of the container, also a compressed air source (22). Both valves are so coupled that in one of two positions, liq. is allowed to fill the container whilst the container is vented. In the other position it allows the introduction of compressed air and the delivery of liq. from the container. A plastics blister or roll diaphragm (50) separates the air and liq. USE/ADVANTAGE - E.g. for preparing pig swill. Allows filling from below by liq. at low pressure. Filling level in container is monitored and with specified height, changes over inlet valve to output mode. Risk of food liq. taking up oxygen is averted.
