Electronic keyboard musical instrument with integrated MIDI system - processing digital signals representing played notes for improving intonation and quality of sound

The instrument comprises at least one keyboard and a resonance base with an integrated musical instrument digital interface (1) allowing the measured parameters for the played notes to be converted into digital signals which can be fed to a sample player (2). This is coupled via a stereo amplifier (3) to an audio system (4). The MIDI (1) and the audio system (4) can be provided as an addition to an existing acoustic keyboard instrument for improving sound quality. USE - Improving quality of sound provided by relatively old piano with irreversible damping of strings.
