<p>A laminated filter medium for removing, with high precision, foreign matters contained in liquid or gas; a method of making said medium; and a filter using said medium. On the rugged surface of a supporting member (2) composed of porous metal, a particle layer (3) is formed when said support member (2) is steeped into suspension (15) having suspending particles and is subjected to vacuum deposition without the use of binding material, thereby forming a laminated filter medium (1). The method of making said material comprises a first step of preparing suspension (15) in which particles finer in average diameter than the small pore of the supporting member (2) are suspended and dispersed without the use of binding material, and a second step of dipping the supporting member (2) into said suspension (15) for vacuum depositing. In the filter (F), a metallic setting part (24), in contact with the end of said filter medium (1) to fix said medium (1), of a support metal (20) is welded to said end from the other side of said setting part (24). <IMAGE></p> |
