Glycine is prepared by reacting the formula (I) ((I)=C1(R3NH3COOH), (R:C1-C4 alkyl group) of acetic acid-tertiary-ammonium chloride, which (I) is prepared by reacting monochloro acetic acid with tertiary amine, with the formula (II) ((II)=R1,R2>NH, (R1,R2:CH2OH or H) of glycoloamine, which (II) is prepared by reacting ammonia with para-formuldehyde, in the presence of alkanol of C1-C4 at below the boiling point of alkanol.
