<p>A dough can (24) capable of venting internal gasses during proofing until the dough expands to fill the volume of the container (24) is disclosed. The container of the present invention includes a cylindrical body (26), at least one end cap (53), a second end (30) and means (42,62,90) for allowing venting of internal gasses during proofing.
