COMPONENT MOUNTING METHOD

PURPOSE:To reduce processing time for optimizing an order for mounting components and improving efficiency of a mounting machine. CONSTITUTION:The title method is provided with a grouping process for determining whether components within the same component cassette 6 of a component supply part 5 are packaged continuously or components within a range of the number of components of the component cassette 6 where the component supply part 5 can travel within one cycle where a component mounting head is not in a waiting state are mounted continuously, a sorting process for determining a next mounting point where an X-Y table which is determined by the grouping process can travel within one cycle in sequence, and a process for taking out components from the component supply part 5 according to the order which is determined by the above processes and then installing them to a circuit substrate 7.
