PURPOSE:To fabricate a surface packaging miniature chip coil magnetic core in great quantities at a time without resort to cutting operation. CONSTITUTION:Through-holes 3 for forming a winding shaft part are provided in an intermediate layer 2 comprising an organic material such as polyester or vulcanized fibers which are decomposed or burned out at low temperature, between upper and lower raw ferrite sheets 1, 5 yielded as sheets by adding a solvent and a resin hinder material to precalcined soft magnetic ferrite powder and blending them into sheets. Further, there is placed in the through-hole a molded article filled with a slug of a soft magnetic ferrite of the same kind of the raw ferrite sheet, and after the raw ferrite sheet and the slug of the soft magnetic ferrite are rendered to thermocompression bonding from the upper and lower surfaces thereof, they are blanked taking the through-hole as the center. A blanked structure is calcined at a high temperature to yield a chip coil magnetic core. |
