PURPOSE:To furnish an oxide magnetic material making it possible to lessen an iron loss even when it is used at a switching frequency in an MHz band. CONSTITUTION:A low-loss oxide magnetic material contains manganese monoxide (MnO) of 30 to 40mol% and zinc oxide (ZnO) of 5 to 15mol% as main constituents and ferric oxide (Fe2O3) as a residual part and contains, as sub- constituents, calcium oxide (Cab) of 0.02 to 0.15wt.% and silicon oxide (SiO2) of 0.005 to 0.100wt.%. As the sub-constituents, moreover, it contains chromium trioxide (Cr2O3) of 0.20wt.% or below niobium pentoxide (Nb2O5) of 0.30wt.% or below vanadium pentoxide (V2O5) of 0.20wt.% or below and phosphorus pentoxide (P2O5) of 0.05wt.% or below. |
