PURPOSE:To confirm a backup function without interrupting a commercial power input CONSTITUTION:The CATV uninterruptible power supply equipment having a direct transmission circuit receiving a commercial AC power supply inputted to an input terminal 1 and outputting the AC power supply, a commercial input interrupter 2 connected between the input terminal 1 and the direct transmission circuit 3 and interrupting the input of the commercial AC power supply, an output changeover device 4 outputting the commercial AC power supply from the direct transmission circuit 3 to an output terminal 5, a backup circuit 7 outputting the commercial AC power supply at backup, and a power failure detector 6 receiving the commercial AC power supply through the commercial input interrupter 2, starting the backup circuit 7 on a fault of commercial input and selecting the output changeover device 4 to be connected from the direct transmission circuit 3 to the output terminal of the backup circuit 4, is provided with a simulation control circuit 8 turning on/off the backup circuit 7 while connecting the output changeover device 4 to the output terminal of the direct transmission circuit 3 without detection of the presence of the commercial input by the power failure detector and with a display circuit 9 displaying the output state of the backup circuit 7.
