PICTURE READING SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To separate the area of picture information which is read from a document by a simple operation through the use of a designated area designating sheet so as to output it. CONSTITUTION:A picture reading part (a) outputs document picture information which is read from the document being a reading object in accordance with the operation of an operating part (f) and outputs area picture information read from the area designating sheet whose area is designated in accordance with the document. A picture information storing part (b) stores document picture information and area picture information. A picture separating part (j) separates document picture information into the inside and outside of the area which is designated by area picture information so as to output them as separation picture information 16 and 17.
