<p>PURPOSE:To provide an image forming device capable of keeping the gap between the printing head and the image carrier constant at all times and obtaining stable, satisfactory printing quality. CONSTITUTION:The printing head 1 attached to a holding member 2 is energized to a photosensitive drum 7 by means of a spring. The recess part of one end of the holding member 2 comes into contact with the center shaft of the photosensitive drum 7. Therefore, the gap between the printing head 1 and the image carrier 7 is kept constant, and stable, satisfactory printing quality can be obtained. Additionally, process cartridge replacement can be carried out with the printing head 1 attached to the device.</p> |
