PURPOSE:To constitute a cordless telephone network centering on a 1st slave equipment even outside the radio wave arrival range of a cordless telephone master equipment by providing the 1st slave equipment with a cordless network control function. CONSTITUTION:The 1st cordless telephone slave equipment 200 is equipped with a cellular radio part 206 which can makes a communication with a pay telephone network by radio and provided with a switch 212 for cellular mode and cordless mode switching. When respective slave equipments 200, 300, and 400 are outside the radio wave arrival range of the cordless telephone master equipment 100, the communication mode of the 1st slave equipment 200 is switched to the cellular mode, and the control right of the cordless communication network such as channel allocation to the slave equipments 300 and 400 is passed to the slave equipment 200. The slave equipment 200 uses a cellular radio part 206 to make a communication through a radio pay telephone line, and the slave equipment 300 and 400 communicate with the slave equipment 200. Consequently, the cordless telephone network can be constituted even outside the radio wave arrival range of the master equipment. |
