PURPOSE:To enable a receiver to recognize the possibility that information is erased because of limited storage capacity when the radio selective call receiver receives much information in a short time. CONSTITUTION:This receiver is equipped with a timer circuit 5 which measures the elapsed time from the reception of received information, a counter circuit 8 which counts the number of pieces of information received within a specific time, and at least >=2 annunciating means (speaker 10 and light emitting diode 11). When more than a specific number of pieces of information are received within the specific time, that is annunciated by the previously set annunciating means (speaker 10) according to data from the timer circuit 5 and counter circuit 8 to attract receiver's attention. |
