ICON DISPLAY CONTROL METHOD

PURPOSE:To provide e graphical user interface which is more visual with the improved operability and can facilitate the control of resources by displaying the resources on a screen as an icon and therefore displaying the icon in real time in response to the state of the resources changed by a user in a generated resource operating environment. CONSTITUTION:The icon display conditions are accumulated in an icon display control information file 101 and then collated with the operating histories 1.04-1.06 of the users secured to the resources, the internal states of the resources or the attribute of a resource file (107). Thus an icon form is specified. Then this icon form is updated into the present one (109) end displayed (110). In such a way, the communication can be kept to some extent by the icon form shown on a screen when the resources are shared by plural persons.
