<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate waiting time between pieces of music by storing voice data gained equivalent to the length of time necessary for next accessing and reading it out at the time of a fast forwarding reproduction or of a rewinding reproduction. CONSTITUTION:When a blank, that is, index information, is detected during the fast fowarding of a tape 1, a controller 3 is controlled by an index control section 2 so that a digital signal supplied from an A/D converter 4 is recorded in a memory 5 for a specified period of time. Then when the writing of voice information in the memory 5 is finished, an instruction is sent to the control section 2 and the controller 3 to stop a recording operation in the memory 5. At this time, a next blank is retrieved by the control section 2. The recording of the voice information in the memory 5 is stopped and data written in the memory 5 is read out by the controller 3. The read-out signal is outputted from a speaker 7 via a D/A converter 6.</p> |
