PURPOSE:To obtain a ferrite magnetic substance having high permeability even in a high-frequency region and showing a low magnetic loss by a method wherein the ferrite magnetic substance with open pores exist is impregnated with a magnetic fluid. CONSTITUTION:A preferable pore density of a ferrite magnetic substance is about 8 to 20% and a preferable pore size is about 0.01 to 1mum in an average diameter. An Mn-Zn ferrite magnetic substance A of which an average crystal particle size is 3mum, wherein open pores exist and of which the composition comprises Fe2O3 of 53mol%, MnO of 37mol% and ZnO of 10mol%, for instance, is impregnated with a magnetic fluid C of ferrite colloid having the same composition as that of the substance A. After the substance A is impregnated with a solution containing Fe, in another way, a magnetic spinel oxide B containing Fe is deposited in the open pores of the ferrite magnetic substance A from the solution. |
