CONTROLLER FOR MONITORING PROCESS

PURPOSE:To monitor variation of a database without decreasing the performance of a CPU by inputting data from a transmitter at a constant period by an I/O part installed in a monitoring room and reflecting its variation on flags in bit units. CONSTITUTION:Plural I/Os 4 are connected to a controller 3 connected to a universal controller network 1, and one of the I/Os 4 is connected to the transmitter 6 through a smart field network 5. A universal station 21 has a man- machine interface, so the state of the transmitter 6 is monitored and settings are altered through a screen. The I/O 4 has two data bases which are synchronized with the transmitter 6 and controller 3 respectively, and read the database of the transmitter 6 at the constant period and compares them with the control databases. If there is a difference, that is reflected on the flags in bit units. A control part knows the database which becomes discrepant by the flags.
