PURPOSE:To enable a receptacle and a plug to be easily made compact and low profile type having small height, and further enable complex type with other connectors to be easily realized. CONSTITUTION:The insulation housing 11 of a receptacle 10 is square type, and the contact 27 of a plug 20 has a flat section 28 inserted in the housing 11 together with the shell 22 of a plug side outer conductor 21 via an insulation 26. Also, a receptacle side contact 17 has a spring plate 17b where the plate type contact section of the contact 27 is resiliently connected. In this case, either of the contacts 17 and 27 is not cylindrical, but formed to be plate type. |
