PURPOSE:To surpress the ineffective power supply to the utmost at the driving of the battery power supply and to apply driving voltage to the circuit main body without fail even when switching power supply in the electronic equipment capable of use by switching the external and battery power supply. CONSTITUTION:The system consists of a changeover means 11 having a changeover switch 12 selectively supplying output from the adapter 10 and a battery 20 to the circuit main body based on the output of an AC adapter 10, discrimination means 15-17 discriminating the changeover of the changeover switch based on the output voltage of the AC apater 10, and a bypass circuit 21 supplying the output of the battery 20 directly to the circuit main body without through a changeover switch 12 based on the result of discrimination.
