OPTICAL FIBER TYPE FILTER AND ITS MANUFACTURE

摘要

PURPOSE:To provide the optical fiber type filter with a superior degree of separation and low insertion loss which separate light beams having different wavelengths are separated from each other by the difference in wavelength since the band width of the transmission wavelength is narrow. CONSTITUTION:The optical fiber type filter 1 is formed by looping one optical fiber 2 and drawing its incidence-side optical fiber 2a and projection-side optical fiber 2b by fusion splicing at an optical coupling part 3. This optical fiber type filter 1 is constituted by looping the optical fiber 2 and forming the optical coupling part 3 by arraying the incidence-side optical fiber 2a and projection-side optical fiber 2a partially in contact and in parallel, and heating and drawing them by fusion splicing.
