PURPOSE:To provide a digital copying machine provided with a facsimile function controlled remotely from a telephone set through a telephone line. CONSTITUTION:The copying machine is provided with a CPU controlling the operation of the copying machine with facsimile function based on a protocol signal sent from a telephone set connecting to telephone lines L1, L2 and a FAXCPU 9 converting a voice signal for remote control received via the telephone lines into a control signal and converting the control signal into a voice signal, and when the FAXCPU9 receives a voice signal instructing the remote control start sent from the telephone set during transmission of protocol signals for plural number of times, the CPU 9 sends at least one protocol signal, the CPU 9 sends a protocol signal representing the reception of the voice signal instructing the remote control start. |
