PURPOSE:To attain a low loss in a high-frequency region by adding at least one kind of substance, for example ZrO2, Ga2O3 and In2O3 to a low-loss ferrite containing Fe2O3, ZnO and MnO as main constituents and CaO and SiO2 as sub-constituents. CONSTITUTION:A low-loss ferrite containing Fe2O3 of 50 to 60mol%, ZnO of 5 to 15mol% and MnO of a residual part as main constituents and CaO of 0.08 to 0.40mol% SiO2 of 0.01 to 0.20mol% ZrO of 0.01 to 0.10mol% Ga2O3 and/or In2O3 of 0.02 to 0.50mol%. According to this constitution, the characteristics demanded for a material for a converter transformer are met sufficiently and, in particular, a loss can be reduced even in such a high-frequency region as 100KHz or above. |
