PURPOSE:To easily and surely execute editing by providing which stores information for reading an area designated by means of an area designating sheet of paper which is placed on the contact glass of an image scanner. CONSTITUTION:An original to be edited is superimposed by the sheet of paper of a same size and the area designating sheet of paper is formed by marking the area to be edited with a pencil, etc. The area designating sheet of paper where a segment for designating one or plural areas is written is placed on the contact glass of the image scanner 200. When a print switch s depressed, the scanner 200 is operated, an area discriminating means 600 reads the area displayed by the segment on the sheet of paper and the area is stored in a memory 601. An image forming mode in the inside and outside of the area is set by an instruction from an operation board 300 in accordance with the display of an operating part. When the original is placed on the scanner 200 and a print key is depressed, a control part 400 controls the copying editing in the respective parts of a copying machine based on information stored in the memory 601 so that an edited copy is obtained. |
