PURPOSE:To autmatically set the time of a timepiece by utilizing time casting. CONSTITUTION:A radio receiver 1, a time casting detection circuit 2 detecting the time casting sound of the radio receiver 1, a count circuit 5 calculating the difference between the accurate time detected from the time casting sound and the time of a timepiece at that time and a stop circuit 6 stopping the driving of a clock mechanism by the time difference are provided to the clock mechanism (quartz oscillation circuit 3, time display part 4) driven by an oscillation source so as to always put a timepiece on from accurate time. The setting of the timepiece is automatically performed on the basis of the time casting sound obtained from the radio receiver 1. |
