PURPOSE:To provide the keyboard device which effectively prevents a loud abnormal sound from being generated even when a hammer arm abuts on a damping member during key releasing operation. CONSTITUTION:When a key 5 fitted turnably on a keyboard chassis 2 is turned, the hammer arm 21 is displaced to turn according to the rotating operation of the key 5 and an action load is placed on the key 5 by the operation of the hammer arm 21. When the hammer arm 21 turns and returns to its original initial position before the rotation as the key 5 is released, the hammer arm 21 abuts on the damping member 41 fixed to the keyboard chassis 2, but a projection 10 for abnormal sound generation prevention is provided at the part of the hammer arm 21 which abuts on the damping member 41, so a loud abnormal sound is effectively prevented from being generated at the time of the abutting action through the operation of this projection 10 for abnormal sound generation prevention. |
