PURPOSE:To reduce the number of parts as well as to shorten the time required for mounting/demounting a car stereo main body in a detachable mounting device for the car stereo main body. CONSTITUTION:The pawl section 19 of a lock plate 16 screwed in the chassis 14 of a car stereo main body is engaged with the engaging hole 22a of a housing section 11 in which the car stereo main body is housed, so as to be locked. Moreover, the lock plate 16 is deflected with a lock releasing key 21 inserted into a lock releasing hole 20 formed in a front panel frame 15 supported by the car stereo main body, and the pawl section 19 is then separated from the engaging hole 11a of the housing section 11, so that the car stereo main body can thereby be taken out.
