PURPOSE:To obtain a reversible recording material easy to fix and easy to release a fixed state by providing a thermal layer reversibly changing in transparency in dependence on temp. to one surface of a base material and providing a self-adhesive layer to the other surface of the base material. CONSTITUTION:A predetermined amount of a resin matrix such as a polyvinyl chloride resin, a vinyl chloride/vinyl acetate copolymer resin or a polyester resin is dissolved in an org. solvent and a predetermined amount of an org. low-molecular substance with an m.p. of 30-200 deg.C such as alkanol or alkane diol is mixed with the resin solution to prepare thermal ink. Self-adhesive ink is prepared by dissolving a resin having self-adhesiveness such as an acrylic resin, a urethane resin or a vinyl resin in an org. solvent. The thermal ink is applied to the surface of a base material 1 such as paper or a resin film and dried to form a thermal layer. Next the self-adhesive ink is applied to the rear of the base material 1 and dried to form a self-adhesive layer to form a reversible recording medium 4. |
