PRODUCTION OF RESIN COATED CLOTH PRODUCT AND THE PRODUCT

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain a resin coated product having thin resin coated layer and excellent in softness by applying a highly waterabsorbing resin to fiber base cloth and then applying a specific sol like resin thereto. CONSTITUTION:Base cloth consisting of woven or knit fabric is moistened in an alcohol dispersion of a highly water absorbing resin kept in water absorbed state [e.g. starch-sodium poly(meth)acrylate grafted product (before or after putting in a forming mold) and dried and coated with a sol-like resin composition such as a vinyl chloride resin or an urethane resin dissolved in a hydrophilic solvent and the treated cloth is allowed to gel and heated to form a layer of the resin composition and removed from a mold to provide the objective thin resin coated cloth product having good handle.
